Hello,
I need your view on this guys. I’m currently in my "burning fat" phase of my program. My TDEE (total daily calories expenditure) is 3596 and I’ve reduced that by 500 calories so I’m currently consuming 3096 calories a day. I eat 6 times a day (every 3 hours). I work out for 60-70 minutes a day, 4 days a week. I spend 6-10 minutes on the treadmill after my workout (I know I should do more then that but im working on it), by the time I finish, I can hardly walk. The days I don’t work out, I jog for approximately 10 minutes, so I jog about 5-6 times a day (very intensive). My 6 meals a day plan consists of %50 carbs, %30 proteins and %20 fats. I drink 10 glasses of water everyday (sometimes more); I sleep 8 hours a day. My nutrition is nothing less then perfect, Full of lean proteins, complex and simple carbs and healthy fats, I make sure I include all of them in every meal. I’m taking multivitamins and a fat burning supplement. So everything seems to be perfect right? I’m doing everything right. But despite all my efforts to burn fat, I don’t seem to be going anywhere. I can see muscle increase but if anything, the fat seems to be increasing as well...and that’s frustrating me. So, I’ve desided to decrease my carbs intake, I’ll change my %50 carbs, %30 proteins and %20 fats nutrition plan to a %50 proteins, %30 carbs and %20 fats. I will lower the carbs intake and increase the protein intake…My diet will be like this: http://multiterra.mooload.com/file.p...st_verion2.xls Now my question is: Is it Ok to consume more proteins then carbs? I know the ideal nutrition plan is %60 carbs, %30 protiens and %10 fats, but that didn’t work with me. So is my nutrition plan OK? Can I expect to see results? Appreciate your comments on this guys, thanks a mill!
