how to measure in syringe

ok now before anyone starts no im not dumb i can see the measure guides down the side of the syringe, however when you suck up some is held in the needle and the plastic base to it so obviousely isnt counted, so when i draw liquid to base of syringe it always adds up to more. so when sucking out the vial, lets say i wanted 1ml where would i pull and hold the stopper at on the syringe?

They take this in to account when they make the syringe. You just need to draw to the 1ml mark.

well i tried that but then when i drop the stopper to 2.5ml (right at the bottom) the liquid exceeds 1.5ml which means therers over 1cc???

Most plungers have a rubber tip that is pointed to compensate for the needle. The amount left in is miniscule (sp) but if you are really worried, you can start by drawing some B-12 in the syringe first, then draw your compound that way if there is anything left in the syringe, it will be B-12 or you can use cottonseed or grapeseed STERILE oil as well.

what u have to do is: pull on the plunger to 1ml. then take ur needle out of the vial & let all the oil or liquid run down entirely into the syringe, as this is happening also pull the plunger again down a little so that the remaining oil runs in the needle runs out into the syringe. put a fresh pin(needle) on & push the plunger slowly back up to the 1ml mark. then let a little oil run down the pin for lubricant & u should have exactly 1ml give or take.. hope this helps
