    Anavar ---> ANXIETY??

    Hey bros,
    I just started 60 mg var ED as the beginning of a 12 wk var/test/primo cycle. It's my first cycle ever, so I decided to just go with 60 mg var ED for the first week. Today is only day 3 and I've been feeling very stressed out, anxious, and "on edge" for no reason. Has anyone experienced this with var? I'm also taking liver detox formula (r-ala, milk thistle) and cholestorol support (policosanol, garlic, niacin). Could it be the supps?? I didn't think it would affect my mind this much - help!

    this is why its advised to only go on one compound for ur first cycle....u could be reacting like this from any of the steroids...everyone reacts dif so its hard to tell...

    never heard of those effects, especially that early, but could be var, could be mental, could be something else, id stop taking it while keeping everything else the same and see if the anxiety ends. also like he said above u should only be doing 1 compound for first cycle

    Im on day 2.5 on my var cycle and if anything I have felt a sense of well being. Have been in an unusually good mood and felt very explosive at the gym today,,may just be mental on my part and your part??

    This is one of the reason's i stopped messing with var along time ago... not worth it in my opinion made me feel like all around shit .. and very anxious

    i think its the supps.. same shit happens to me when i stop taking them for a while and then i start again..

    some AAS (like EQ) have effects on GABA receptor and aggravate anxiety. everyone has a few compounds they learn to avoid because they have some nasty idiosyncratic reaction to it. you may have to cross anavar off your list - always listen to your body.

    Your first cycle should have been test only. You are taking to much and to many. I would reduce the var in 1/2. It has a 10 hour half live; are you taking morning and night? I can feel the the effects with in a few days. Easy to
    taper off and then increase. Good stuff! for me.

    Thanks. I know about the "test only" doctrine. I had the var before I decided to add test. The primo would only be at the end and I might not even add it. Test takes a long time to kick in so I'm using the var for a kickstart. If the anavar anxiety gets worse though I'll just go with Test alone.

    Just lower the dosage. Get used to it. Just take 15mg am and `15 pm. see how it goes. Sometime I just take in morning. You should enjoy your cycle
    and not have any worries. Thake less you can streatch it out longer.

    Is it best to take two doses of var am\pm, or would it be better to take it like 4 times a day?? right now Im taking it 4 times a day(40mgED)

    OK...?

    Kickstarts, like Var, Dbol, Tbol, etc.. are generally started in conjunction with the rest of your cycle, not before.

    Your test is going to take even longer to kick in if you never start it.

    riddi- I'm on day for of 50mg day of Var. I've got the exact same symptoms...this morning I checked my BP and noticed that it dropped from 130/90 to 110/70 within 30 min of taking a 25mg dose. Actually I've felt pretty much crap off and on every since I started on Monday.

    I spoke with a pharmacist and he told me it was just the body being shocked by that much of the var for the first time. He recommended I cut my dosage in half for a week then increase it. I don't know if his advice is right...but just to let you know it does happen.

    UPDATE: I've been continuing with 60 mg var ED, and the anxiety is pretty much gone. Like stitch said, it happens soon after I take it. I've found that if I take it on a very full stomach and keep away from caffeine everything is fine.

    Maxima - thanks for the advice. I started the var before the test because it's my first cycle and I wanted to start with one compound (and I'm glad I did b/c if I hadn't I wouldn't know that these effects were from the var). I have enough to run 60 mg ED for seven weeks, so six weeks will overlap with the test.

    I skipped my 25mg dose this morning and had an insane workout today...pumps and recovery times were awesome...I know you're suppose to do at least 60mg/ED and split it in at least two doses...just saying what happened to me....could be the Var I got...could be me....but I feel super-jacked today
