talked to a specialist on my gyno

i just got back from a specialist and i was disappointed with the results. i've had gyno for just over 2 months now, due to not running anti estrogen between cycle and pct( dumb i know). but c-bino's reversal helped shrink it down a bit, but now after talking to a doctor, i find out the best thing to do is wait and see if it goes away. wtf!!!
i told him that before i started using letro it was getting worst but he insisted on waiting 3 months, THEN, if its worst i ca get the surgery. this great knowledge cost me 75$ and he sent me out the door.
i was hoping to get the surgery and be done with it but apparently in 50% of cases in which gyno is caused by steroids, the gyno went away within 3-10 months. ( there goes beach season). genetic gyno is irreversible and needs surgery but i guess all i can do is wait seeing that mine was due to roids. he said the letro wont work ( not bashing on cbino), i just found this was strange info. i guess if bino's reversal works for u, do it. but gyno can be a real b*tch if letro isnt for u. i found results but was told to stop using it.

fyi: i did get the name of a spray that keeps your nipples erect. this is good because if u have a very small lump, its barrely noticable when your nipple is hard. and this spray keeps your nipples hard all day and apparently helps with the soarness or sensitivity. i'll let u know how it works out.

No offense to the doc. As I am not a doctor but have done much research into gyno and have personal experience (something I doubt your doc has). Anyways, from my research I cant say how wrong this doctor is. Well firstly genetic (pubertal gyno Im assuming) CAN definitely be reverse, and in fact I have read MORE THAN ONE study that proves this. One of the better studies included the use of nolva for 18 months to reduce this type of gyno. Secondly, as I can attest and many others on this board alone, letro does work. And you can find studies to prove this as well. Lastly, gyno brough on from steroids RARELY goes away on its own and in fact the only type that goes away on its own (maybe 50% of cases) is genetic gyno.

Do some research of your own, this is the best weapon. Arm yourself with these go back to see the doctor and then when you are done tell him he owes you $75 for the lesson.

My doc said the same thing to me 3 years ago, and guess what? My gyno is still here. I'm on Letro right now .5mg ED and the puffiness around the nipple is down about 90%, but the hard lump are still there.

it's amazing how people will buy into almost anything a doctor tells them. look, i'm no doctor, just a person who extended his research out of curiosity, and i know personally doctors tend to give a lot of bad advice.

there had been two times where doctors had tried to prescribe me meds that would negatively react with one another, knowing very well that i was on the one and they'd try to prescribe me the other. there have also been times when doctors have tried to prescribe me meds and i had to advise them to give me ones that were far more effective in my situation.

i'm not saying i know more than doctors of course, but when it comes to gear and treatments for a handful of specific things, i have done plenty more research than what their studies have given them and have seen them make bad calls several times.

i'm with c_bino. i'd be asking for that cash back. he probably just wanted you off the letro either cause he has no idea that it actually can effectively treat gyno, or he knows it could and wants to make sure you need the surgery instead so he can make more $ off you. either way, send one of these his way...

kinda have to agree with u here.. medicine is a large field and ur avarage GP usually dont know crap about specific situations such as these.. and they most likely are not up to date with the recent studies etc.. I hardly think they are out to get ur money most of the time, they just dont know any better.. Im not saying to not believe ur docs but to remember that their words cant be takes as the ultimate truth...

its called NEXCARE SPRAY BANDAGE. what its supposed to do is cover ur nips in a mist that keeps it erect ALL day. but u have to spray it on both nips because it does give a shinny look to the nipple after, and u would look funnny with just one shinny nip. im picking some up at either the pharmacydrug store or a convenience store that has a small pharmacy part in it. i'll let u know once i try it.

I found a doc here in Texas (good doc) that is doing gyno surgeries for 2,050 US$. Sounds like a good price right? Includes the anesthesia, surgery, room and board. I might have mine done this summer!

yeah most Docs know dick about this stuff and they will tell you what some guy wrote in a book they read from the college.Thats all they know, hell these days with all the info out there you can know what they know. I only see specialists because they have to have some knowledge of what they are doing.General Dr's are idiots......
But if you have gyno it will not go away.It will get smaller and may even appear to be gone with meds but it is there waiting for another cycle to puff it up again.Surgery is the only cure..Sorry..

Some doctors have no idea how to treat something. They will tell you to wait and come back if it does not go away because they don't want to say "I am clueless".
