    Talking Getting a grip on PWO Glucose????

    Hi guys,

    Been searching and reading , re-reading, and reading some more trying to figure out exactly the best way to use PWO glucose.
    Not wanting to venture into using insulin YET, I wanted to boost my recovery and growth reception by using glucose tablets post workout.
    What amount would be a good starting point to take post workout, or if you can direct me to the proper thread that would be great to. I have read a bunch of thread by Pinnicle and my eyes are going in circles.

    Bro, get some dextrose from a brewery store, add some kool-aid for flavor. a half a cup is about 75 grams of glucose. If that's not the right measurement someone will put up the right one. Ad 50 grams of whey protein isolates to that and you have a nice PWO shake.

    Thanks JohnnyB, I did pick up some Dextrose from the drug store for diabeics, should be close to the same I hope? Thanks for the info, I will check the local brewery also.!!

    Yeah, bud - dextrose is dextrose. That's the same as glucose - 75g or so will do you right.
