    Preventing Injuries & Healing Injuries

I've been lifting for over 20 yrs...and had my share of injuries (from herniated discs, to knee problems, etc). HOWEVER, as we get older, injuries seem to take 5 times as long to heal.

Of course we all know about Warming up and taking glucosomine, MSM, chondrotin, but what are some other techniques and (perhaps) nutrients that are needed to help prevent injuries.

Will HGh help heal injuries to soft tendons?

What are some of the best methods and procedures for PREVENTing and CIRCUMventing Injuries (tendons, ligaments, muscle tears, etc).

I've been reading that YOGA helps strengthen and Heal Tendon injuries....

    What about you?

    T

Actually read a very good article by a Former Mr USA. He states that "deep" massage therapy is and has been the best healer for damaged tendons and muscle issues.

    Gonna give it a try...

rest, ice, stretching, proper warm ups all help, but there in no guarnatee on ijury prevention. accidents will happen, even if you take precautions. deep muscle therapy is a favorite of mine, it has let me continue powerlifting for the last 15 years, and hopefully another 10 more years to come in the future
