yellow jaundice with dbol?

just started week 4 of my cycle runnung 500mg test e, and frontloading with 60mg dbol ed for the first four weeks. I take 500 mg of thistle daily, but I have been noticing my fingers starting to turn yellow, and I am worried a little bit about jaundice. Should I even be worried about jaundice? I don't have any other symptoms of it except the yellowish skin in my fingers. I am in my last week of dbol, so wondering if I should increase milk thistle, decrease dbol dose, stop the dbol alltogether, or just finish out the week as is. Any one have any experience with this? am i just being paranoid?

Drop the damn dbol asap. Check and see if other parts of your body are yellow. Look in the white of your eyes, toungue, and check to see if your urine is darker than usual. The yellowing on your hand could be due to something else but liver failure is some serious sh*t. If you ended messing messing your liver up to the point of needing a liver transplant which is not uncommon like people think then you will be at the bottom the the list in order to receive one because of the steroid usage and the doctors will know. I just lost my little brother a year ago to liver failure and it is scary sh*t. Be safe man.

Got to say this is unusual for Dbol at this dose and length,I have never heard this,you must be very Sensitive. Signs and symptoms of Jaundice may vary on an individual basis.I would stop the Dbol......

Most will attest running milk thistle @ 1000mg /day (do it).

I'd stop the d-bol you're running.

Exactly. If you don't have yellow eyes chances are that you don't have jaundice. I've never heard of jaundice showing up on fingers before anything else... that's kinda strange. A test that I have seen doctors use is pressing on the affected skin (usually the forehead) and checking the color of the skin after removing your finger. If there is a white circle there you don't have jaundice. If the skin is still yellow, you have jaundice. This doesn't work on people with darker skin, though, and I'm not sure how well it works on fingers.

I would call your doctor and just ask his opinion, if possible.

I've seen hundreds of people with jaundice while working in an ER and in that whole time I've never once seen jaundice manifest on the fingers first. Ever.

No offense! I'm just trying to keep everything realistic. One thing that I've noticed in medicine is that everything isn't like it is on "House". The correct answer is usually the simplest and I don't like to scare people for no reason. If he was jaundiced after 4 weeks of 60mg dbol ED then there would be something seriously wrong with his liver... in other words, it wouldn't be the dbol causing the problem, just exacerbating it.

It seems like the forum is made up of two opposite ends of thought:

Both lead people down the wrong road. Until there is a practicing MD hired to advise us, I think it is best to remember we are dealing with opinions and personal experiences.

We don't want members seeing their doctors every week, but we don't want them thinking "it can't happen to me" either.

I worked at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. This advice is also given to mothers with newborns that are concerned that their babies are too yellow. It's a lot quicker and cheaper than running a blood test.

Wow that sounds crazy , i had jaundace from drinking a gallon of vadka a day for about a year straight, eyes completly yellow skin yellow and a swollen liver, he told my family if i would have spent another week drinking i would have gotten cirrhosis of the liver, and probaly died..But like everyone said go to the doctor and good luck.

We on this board can only speculate. If it were me and I thought I had jaundice, shit, I'd stop everything ASAP and get my ass to a Dr. PERIOD.

Not to sound like an expert, we know how 'The Sentinal' hates those guys, but what you described (one year of an admittedly strong drink), the onset of Jaundice, and an inflamed liver is a long way from Cirrhosis. Not to make light of your condition, which was deleterious, but there are many stages the liver goes through prior to the Cirrhosis. In short, Cirrhosis is a CONSEQUENCE of chronic liver disease not the problem itself. Once you reach the big "C" instead of regenerating, the liver replaces it's own tissue with fibrotic scar tissue (this is Cancer-like), which leads to the progressive loss of liver function.

What the Doc told you and your family was an effective and necessary scare tactic.
