what kind of tuna are you eating?

  3. #3
Do you have any symptoms? Mercury poison have variety of symptoms such as headaches, heartburn, rashes, twitching etc. Well you mention you ate 12 since monday, that would be twice a day. Eating it everyday is not a good thing.

Try to reduce your tuna intake by once a day and skip a day.

If you dont feel anything that's not normal, I wouldn't worried about it. If you are really that worried though make a Dr. appointment.

Tuna cans are high in sodium by the way.

the yellow tuna or albacore is worse in regards to mercury. if u aren't experiencing symptoms, exactly as fatale mentioned, i wouldn't worry. if u are broke and must rely on tuna 3 or so times a day, just increase your water intake to help regulate that sodium. i eat 2-3 cans a day and have no noticable symptoms. i eat light tuna in water. in a week i will be eliminating it because of the sodium content. as stated in another post, if you keep sodium levels constant it is easier to regulate as well. so keep them steady and elevate your fluids to rid the excess.

You'd have to eat so much tuna to have any issues w/mercury that cat's would be trying to bone you up the stink funnel before that happens.

I like the canned chicken from Costco, the Kirkland brand. I'm so tired of tuna, I haven't eaten it in a few years. The canned chicken tastes great, and actually has far less sodium (if that's of a concern to anyone) than a can of tuna, and less than the bagged chicken breast/tenders that are bagged having been bathed in broth.

    Cheaper too!

so about costco, you gotta pay a yearly fee and that's it? i am a BACS (broke ass college student) and i don't have money to throw away on a "per serving" fee. but at 50$ and that's it... that would be a good deal for me.

so you aren't eating any carbs? besides the special k plus, which i think is trash anyway... you need to lay out your sietary approach in a different thraed, breaking down what u have meal by meal and the macros involved in each meal. and where are your healthy fat sources? i hope you are at least taking the necessary support supps.

whole wheat bread isn't my carb of choice. and veggies usually don't even count. you need carbs to grow my man. oats, sweet potatoes, whole wheat pasta, rice (both white and brown) would definately be on my list. i hope your diet is in check BIG TIME since you're on AAS.

fat sources usually come in oil form unless its natural peanut butter. flax and olive top my list of good oils to supplement into a diet.
