If it is def infected he should go to the drs. He might have been able to prevent, if he used some heat and Motrin to help reduce the swelling. Some ppl will get ahold of some anti-biotics too. If its too late, def go to the ER. You can always say that you injected some b-12.

I'm sure the doctor isn't an idiot and if there is anything I've learned, its to never lie to your: Lawyer, Doctor, or Priest. Not being honest with the guy going to help wont make anything better. His job isn't to punish you, but to make you better - just be honest and hope for the best.

Bro, in all honesty is not always the best policy. Some insurer's will not pay on a claim if the existing condition was caused by aas. If they put anything in his medical records that shows he used steroids, they may not pay on his claim.

You have a few options :
1) Go see a doc
2) Take anti-biotics if its at early stage
3) get a big gauge syringe, inject in swelling and pull plunger getting all the puss into syringe.. than treat with anti-biotics.. U need to know what you're doing because it hurts like a bitch....
