I know you are supposed to do cardio on an empty stomach - but should I be eating directly after?
thx

Yes go ahead and eat breakfast right after. No need to wait.
That is assuming that you do AM cardio.
I usually wait 20 mins or so. No set time, basically just come home..shower..sit on AR for a sec then head downstairs and make first meal of the day.
I wait a little while myself.

yeah...I wait 30-40 minutes before my first meal
actually this is my PM before bed cardio.
normally I have a shake, scoop of nat. pb, and some flax b4 bed..
Is that ok?
or too much fat before bed?
Assuming you are cutting I would stay clear of the PB before bed. Just have the shake with water or low fat milk.
Why would you remove the PB and have milk before bed?
Agreed, also why do you need a double serving of fat. Over 10g's isn't really necessary IMO to slow protein absorbtion if that's what you're trying to accomplish. I'd go with a meal like Salmon + veggies (Nice protein + Fat meal that will digest much slower than whey and much better for your while cutting). The vegetables will really help things last throughout the night.Originally Posted by Bigun

I'd have to say I respectfully disagree.Originally Posted by HereWeGoAgain
I'd take a natural healthy fat over milk (carbs are pure sugar) any day.
Especially before retiring for the night.
However, to each his precious own.

why? So you'd rather have him have milk instead of PB? Milk while cutting..meh not so sure about that. Remember that milk has 12g or so of sugar per cup and thats right before bed...adn thats lactase blahhOriginally Posted by HereWeGoAgain
PB is amazing as well
I also like Ibdmfkr's idea..salmon with veggies. Thats been my prebed meal the past week or so when I have the $
