    Niacin and Orals

What are the benefits of taking a flush free niacin when taking T-bol or Anavar?

  2. #2
Not any more than any other supplements. If you are going to spend money spend it on food/protein drinks.

There is obviously some benefit to it or the people on these boards wouldn't reccomend it when taking t-bol or Anavar.

They should be recommending BCAA, or protein shakes. Of course there are benifits, but there are benifits from taking a multi-vitamin.

Niacin helps lower bad cholestrol (LDL) and raise good cholestrol (HDL). Orals are horrible on the lipid profile. Tbol and Var are not as bad as Winny....but still bad enough to supp about 2g of Flush-free Nician/ED and 1g of regular Niacin.

.....??????!!!!!!! What do you mean, "no benefits"?? Anavar is quite hard on the lipid profile, elevating both total and bad LDL cholesterol. Taking time release Niacin will help greatly in normalizing these effects and it is cheap, to boot!! Years ago, I had a physical and my cholesterol was 325. My Doc wanted to put me on a statin, but I didnt like the potential libido deceasing sides. I tried time-release niacin, went back in two months, and guess what?? Cholesterol down to 195!! Recommend it highly!!

I would not worry about statins. Try Zetia (not a statin) buy effective.
It's a new cholesterol reduction agent.

No MORE benifits than other supplements. HELLO??? Did you know EFA help with cholesterol also? That is why it is recommended so often. Hello. How about Policosanol? Or Garlic and Hawthornberry? Listen, anti-oxidants even help in this area like grapeseed extract. Red Yeast rice is a cholesterol lowering supplement. Guggul and plant sterols also are known to lower tryglycerides up to 30... Geesh.

    And on top of that:

Dietary fiber helps and should be the first thing offered.

I never said no benifits from niacin. Niacin also works and has a synergistic effect with things I have listed.

So the original question: What are the benifits? To help cholesterol and tryglycerides. Everything else I listed has the same benifits.

Ever wander why successful bb'ers back whole foods? Because you can get fiber, niacin, EFA's, and other vitamins in those whole foods.

As for the muscle building benifits of BCAA and Protein that can be utilized with anavar outweigh, unless one has specific challenges, niacin or the like.

Niacin works spectacular in reducing LDLs. Also 0mega 3's as well. I take Niacin and 0mega 3's daily. Dieatary fiber should be part of your daily diet anyway, not a supp to help lower LDLs and raise HDLs.

I got the Niacin tip from good ol' Rodge here. I had LDLs in the high 200's last year. Took Niacin at 1,500mgs ed with 0mega 3's and it went down to 141 in 4 months. Cut in half basically. The shit works.

Let me rephrase. Niacin works better than most OTC supps by itself.

Do you have anything I could see to prove that? Yeah, yeah, it works for you(and did you try everything else? be honest now) but are there comparative studies you are basing your statements? As if they were fact.

..... Do you?? There are many studies which show the cholesterol-lowering properties of niacin, but to my knowledge there are none which show comparable effects with other supplements like you name. Post a few and Ill change my opinion.

Cop out. Saying it is better than everything else does not make it so.
