I watched the new director's cut last night and the scenes with the executions in America, the monkey brain one, the lady getting bit by huge lamprey eel, the guy that lost his foot under the car & the scene of the asians eatting dogs were reinactments. Please don't flame, I just watched the series out of curiosity (people kept saying I should watch) most of it is very real and makes you think (and you feel funny after watching it, but it is like mothes to a flame I guess.) makes you glad to be alive. Anyone else seen it?

When I first got internet F.O.D. was one of the things I downloaded, or at least some clips of it and it totaly threw me off cause I had never seen shit like that before, like the guy getting stabbed in the throat with a huge rambo knife.
Now after having the net for so long I have become somewhat desensitized.
I'm kind of like Tim, if something is really that disturbing I have to watch it again.

yeh for people who have actually seen people die i think it would be alot more disturbing because theres a deeper element of reality to it whether real or not.

yeah they made me enraged at first, and yes they ****ed me up for afew days, hence why i watched them until it didnt make me bat an eye-lid anymore. i dont like things botherering me, so i desensitize myself if possible. i sleep fine at night lol

Yea, I watched ALL the F.O.D. tapes, at the time I thought all of it was real. His head was on the ground and a foot of a soldier was holding his head down, then he had the knife against his throat and they push it all the way through real hard. You can hear the guy try to scream through what must be a lot fo blodd in his throat and it just came out as a loud gurgle.

yes i saw the same one... it was the first "death" video I ever saw. after that they cut to a another soldier handcuffed and they make him lean over on a stump before they proceed to chop his head off with an axe. I think they were chechnyans and the soldiers who got murdered were russian.

I don't know about that one, it was jacked up for sure. I could see a news crew getting there at the same time (scanners) and they do have really high quality cameras. That bit was not on the dvd I rented. When I watched these videos as a teenager, I thought everything was real. The monkey one looked real but it was a cast head and califlower for a brain.
