    NEW MEMBER, help me!

Hi everyone, im new to training been working out for 3 months or so, people tell me ive got quite a good physique and since i havent really been training (except for a few sit ups and press-ups) i figure id see how much i can improve. Im currently about 185LBS and 26yrs old never cycled before and am not considering it for a good few years if at all. My diet has been good all my life and i know alot about nutrition, i have tweeked it somewhat to work towards what i want to achieve. My aim is to have a physique that makes people think "wow".

So what do you think? What should I work on? and how fat do you think i am?

My legs are chunky but not very defined, i will post pics shortly.

Thanks, this board has really made me catch the "bug" all i want to do is train, im obsessed!!!!

    Thanks again

Well if you ahve never worked out you are one lucky mofo in my opinion and you are blessed with awsome genetics. I think you BF is around 12-13% which is excellent. So what have you been doing in the gym excercise wise ?

You genetic freak!!! Great build for anyone, let alone someone who doesnt work out. You will go far, if you can stick with it. We could comment a little better if you post a few more pics with your legs and arms in them. Good luck bro.

I forgot to say that your chest development is great. DO you do anything for that or is it just natural?

  5. #5
    Thanks for your comments.

at the moment im doing just bench, squats, dips shoulder press and chins 5-6 sets of each everyother day, i figure id get my body used to lifting and then hit work each muscle group maybe in another 3 month or so.

Since i started working out properly ive gained around 4-5lbs but i think im a little leaner than when i started.

Im a plasterer by trade which i think has contributed to the way i am and i do some climbing regularly aswell.

my chest has always been big my thighs are big too, i can never get jeans to fit my waist and thighs.

ive always watched what i eat due to being educated by my parents at an early age and since its been second nature.

Again thanks, really appreciated, ill post some pics later today of my legs, and arms

Nice to see someone eating sensibly since a young age. You are a smart man, and just look at you now!!
Way to go bro!! you look awesome..

Seem like a smart guy. I recommend taking a trip over to the workout forum and having them look at your routine (seems like you are overtraining) and to the diet forum even though you seem like you have a good grasp on it yourself.

Oh ya and that is excellent work for training for that short of a period of time.

But then again your parents taught you how to eat........I grew up on Pizza, mac n' cheese, cinnamon toast and top ramean. Anyway you look great and have unlimited potential and definately to ability to look "Wow." GL.

    3 months on

Firstly thanks for all your comments and words of encouragement. I feel great, I cant believe i havent done this earlier. Im not much heavier, sat at arount 190Lbs but i feel much tighter, my waist has gone from 33in to 31in and im so much stronger. Got an excellent training partner who has been training for years so am learning all the time from him which i think is important. Im probably eating 1000-2000 calories more than at the date of the first picture.

anyway heres some more pics taken today. What do you guys think? Personally i feel my back and legs are lacking although the back picture isnt the best! I cant seem to bring the definition of my quads out like my upper torso. Id say im around 11% BF, although in my medical at work apparently im clinically obese due to my BMI and according to the shitty BF scales im 23%!!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Its been a while since I posted. Thought Id post an upto date picture of me and see what feedback I get as it seems to help motivate me.

Im extremely happy with the way my body has changed, although hard work its definately all been worth it.

Im still natty but am now considering planning a cycle for maybe in a year or so.

Thanks again for the comments as I say it helps motivate me loads.

since you need about 10% body fat to show ur abs, i'd say your a little below 10%.

Not sure where you heard that number but it isn't true....different for different people.

But anyways, ya bro, looking lean...hit those weights hard and you will be huge.

I would set up a nice bulking diet, JMO.

Chest is awesome, like the rest said, great genetics, looked good from the start. Terrific improvement though.

I'm with audis....... a nice lean bulk would suit you nice.

holy jesus christ!! you look better than me and I've been working out alot longer than you. great great GREAT work and God bless your genetics!! you remind me of one my friend named Mike. All this guy does is 100 push ups 100 sit ups 20 pull ups and runs 1 mile a day and drinks beer and eats chocolate all day and he looks like a calvin klein model with shredded muscle all over his body. Great work!

  36. #36
WOW loads of comments - thanks loads.

I totally agree a bulk is the way to go, Im just going to maintain how I look for the rest of the summer then get my diet spot on for a 3-4month clean bulk try and add some mass

Next march Im going to start my first cycle of Test Prop at 75mg/day for 10wks with T-Bol at 60mg/day for the first 6 weeks, just trying to educate myself before then.

My goals to be in the same shape this time next year but 5-7 kg heavier.

    Thanks again for the feedback.
