Is K1 the kick boxing rules where as pride is the MMA rules? I'm confused on the pride k1 concept.....

you've pretty much got it correct there man. pride is mma, where u can go to the ground and use submissions and such, whereas k1 is all about the standing and striking.

If thats the case he needs to stick with K1. Everyone knows his boxing skills are excellent. Even though his reflexes have suffered due to age he will still be a force in k1 but he needs to watch out for kicks.

Pride he would get taken down and pounded or submitted and end up biting someone.

+ I wanna see him kicks sapp's big ass. he is pathetic for being that size, no athletism whatsoever..........Sign the contract big boy.

your close but a little off K1 has K1 which is kickboxing they also have k1 heroe's which is mma rules. Pride is all mma rules. Tyson make knock some cans out but this is what will happen they will close the gap very quickly or maybe just out and out shoot a single,doube etc take him down and either sub him or ground and pound him. No one is gonna stand with him, boxers are the best boxers, fighters are the best fighters they wont stand with him just take him down and g n p him or sub him. I would rather see about 15-20 other people in the big show the mike tyson

idk. yes he was a great boxer, but in his prime. he got destroyed by evander twice and lenox lewis, and he lost to a nobody as well later. if he stays in shape and sticks his mind to it and doesnt do it just for the money he might do well but like everyone said and knows he is only doing it for the money. he still will give those fighters something to fear with those powerful punches that he has and animal mentality but idk how it will turn out. we will see
