Study on protein synthesis and ibuprofen/aspirin

Apparently they do seem to halt protein synthesis at least when given directly PWO if I read it correctly. I had always heard this but didnt know if it was true or not.


Any comments?

Well I would question the significance of this study being that the subjects were given consisitently high doses, i.e Costs to benefits. Costs being the long term effects of taxing your organs. Interesting to note, nonetheless, that they noticed this in rats 20 years ago.

Huh? Sorry didnt fully understand that. You mean CONSISTANTLY? And that the doses were muchh higher than what a normal person would take?

So you think they dont effect it significantly enough at normal doses for it to be taken into consideration?

Yeah thats what I meant. They were given the maximum dosage or the upper limit of the recommended dosage. I guess what Im trying to say is I really question the LT benefits versus the LT threats and if the benefits are really significant or justifiable.

Well let's just say I wouldnt really do it.
