There may be some info in the lab on this.

I like .22's better than .45s, personally
ARE THE .22 USED FOR WATER BASED ?AND HOW ABOUT THE PRICE ANY CHEAPER OUT THERE.Originally Posted by fLgAtOr
No. They should be exactly the same except with a smaller pore size.
Typically, I see them for $5 a piece. So anything under that is pretty good.
COOL THANKSOriginally Posted by fLgAtOr
.2µ are designed for water-based product (aqueous solutions), but will work just fine for oil-based products.

Tha manufacturer designed them for aqueous solutions, but they are great for oil-based stuff. And due to the smaller pose size, they are superior at removing contamination.Originally Posted by fLgAtOr

I strained 2ml cottonseed oil and 5ml t 450 one through a .45 filter into a
10 ml vial. Then I strained 2ml cottonseed oil and 5ml t 450 through a .22 filter into a 10 ml vial the one filtered through the .45 remained thick, oily and
darker tinted and the one filtered through the .22 came back almost crystal clear and a thinner consistancy, injected 1 cc of that and no pain after 3 days passed, after filtering, both vials ended up with same volume...
Before, when i inj right from the sachet it was freakn painful!
