The real deal poll regarding gym clothes

I always change my clothes at the gym, but it seems the majoirty do not.
(Not changing before and after is kind of nasty, but that's just me)

Most people walk in with shorts and a tee shirt and get right to work.

I just wear what i want to work out in to the gym.... and do not bring a change of clothes. I shower and change my clothes when i get home, I am never going anywhere straight from the gym besides home, so I dont feel a need to bring a change of clothes.

I change into gym clothes when I go to the gym, then leave in my gym clothes. Drive home, shower, and go to bed. I workout at night, after work.

Whats the differnce wearing the cloths for the 10 min ride home? You have them on the time in the gym. And as far as my car my slothes arent that soaked in sweat.

I live up the street from my gym. So i don't change in the gym, only when going straight from work.

I also prefer to shower in my own home afterwards than use the gym showers which tend to be a bit grim and go to the gym in what im about to work out in. AND if I had to be somewhere, a pub or something after the gym I would still go home, get showered and changed and then go to the pub. But that could be just me.

I change my clothes before and after not because I'm sweaty, but because there's fecal material all over the benches and seats in gyms.

Granted there are traces of fecal matter all over the place in the world, but sweaty rear ends on benches and seats probably greatly increase the chance that some will be around

Your gym sounds pretty gross dude! It's just sweat isn't it? where does the fecal matter come into it? Unless you train in a nude gym. I would like that actually!

My employment is at my gym/physical therapy, so I have a private shower and a full locker of clothes and cleansers. Also we have a cleaning person that comes in nightly to do laundry. Very convinient. Saves me time, money, and all the lady members get to see Bazerk all FRESH!

If somebody has a wet sweaty ass and is sitting on a bench, then more often than not microscopic fecal particles will make there way on the bench.

That's the main reason I change before getting in my car.

I dont go to a gym. I usually dont sweat either because I dont usually workout when it's hot or in the day, i prefer to workout at night or morning because I dont like sweating. I usually workout at home and i dont wear a shirt, just shorts and shoes with socks. If i were to go to a gym and sweat and all of that, I would say YES, they should change their clothes. They can jock itch, athletes foot and different kinds of rashes and fungus if they dont.

I change clothes and use a towel. Also Im pretty picky as to the way I dress. I dont wear my track pants, tshirts nor gym shoes ever outside the gym, just a habit.
I just find it a clean habit not that there is anything wrong with not changing, besides I have my towel to protect myself from other's bodily discharges. To each his own
