I was riding my bike down the main road that interconnects all of the various phases throughout my neighborhood. I was riding on the street because all of the walking paths down this road were heavily congested with walkers. A car full of teenagers passes me and as they pass me, the guy in the backseat throws a full 12 ounce Sprite bottle out of the window and it nails me in the head and knocks me off of my bike onto the concrete. As I stated before, there were lots of people walking around this scene, so they came to my side to see if I was okay. I get up slowly and collect myself. I then spent about 5 minutes talking to the various people who were witnesses and I was just about set to be on my way back home.
Well what do you know? These guys found the need to circle back around to see if there was any aftermath of the event. Bad mistake! I see them approaching the scene and they came to a complete stop. They had only two choices: 1. Put the car in reverse 2. Continue going straight and haul butt past the scene. They chose to hall butt through the scene. As I see this, I enter into this rare state of rage and I throw my bike at their car as they pass by. My bike shatters the drivers window and they came to a screeching stop. The guy who threw the bottle gets out of his car and charges me. As he charges me, he's raring back with his right hand in an attempt to throw a punch. Well, I see this punch coming like a bullet from the movie, "The Matrix". I make him miss and I then take out his right knee, causing him to be paralyzed in pain for about 10 minutes. A witness phoned the local police and they arrived in no time.
I was lucky in that I did not get into any trouble for this event. Thought it would be worth sharing, though. I'm a very calm and understanding person, but this drew the line. The boys in the car were taken in by the local authorities and I'm not sure what happened to them.
Grace and Peace,
Mavsluva
