    BCAA v.s. protein supplements

    does anyone take BCAA (branched chain amino acid complex) exclusivly without protein shakes or is it good to combine them?

    most quality proteins you find will have BCAA's in them, however imo its not enough to really

    when i was cutting i would have my pwo shake along with 5g bcaa's right before workout and 5g bcaa's directly following workout

    On offdays id take 5g's upon waking up and 5g's before going to bed

    just my .02!

    I have been taking BSNs syntha 6 and it has BCAAs in it. Great protein blend and taste if you have some extra cash to spend on it.

    I take a serving of BCAA's before my WO, followed by another serving + high protein/dextrose shake PWO.

    awesome for energy before and recovery after.

    BCAA's are good pre, post, AM and PM. BCAA's own
