Can anyone recommend a good moving company. I had a horrible problem with one. I have to move next month.

That's what i'm saying, atleast you can order the pod and pack it at your own convenience and you know exactly what to pack and where it is, and you know you will be careful with your own stuff. Just maybe hire a couple of guys if you need help for heavy stuff and save that all for one day and pack all the little stuff on your own other days. Plus you know how crazy moving in one day is, with the pod you can take your time.

you're a complete idiot if you actually think that.......i'd like you try to move 25000 pounds of household over 1000 miles and see how many things you break.......how many things break on our truck when we move people? none.....now if you're packin your own shit in the instances you speak of that's your issue.......most people have not a clue how to pack and then things get broken because they're put in the wrong boxes for the item and such........and even if something is broken the driver is liable for it and he has to pay for it so.......your statement is complete bullshit....

i have a buddy that has a moving company. he is a one truck operation. ive made a few moves with him for cash. and being a mover is not a easy job. my advice to you would be to get a local mover, but be there while they pack and move your belongins.........or your wife may come up a panty or two short......trust me on this one, bro

I'm doing the whole PODS thing right now. I have the 16' sitting in my driveway. I'm moving from Detroit to Atlanta, and I also have to move everything on my own when I get there. I'm going to rent furniture dollys and furniture platforms to be able to wheel everything around myself. And let me tell you, the Pod is completely packed to the roof. It's definitely gonna suck having to unload it
