filtering

I want to filter my gear i have a whatsman .45 will any of the gear be wasted or will i be able to get it all through the filter i only have 6cc left and i think i might have got some glass in it thats why im filtering when i broke one of my vials the top kind of shattered and im scared to get any little pieces i would through it out but im at the end of my cycle and need to run it longer because im also on deca

you will porb's lose a little bit in the fillter not much tho

i hate to lose gear myself......i purge with air and oil.. hope you get all the glass out.....that would not be good to inject for sure.

approx 1.7ml/cc..................not that little in my opinion. So i filter 1.7ml/cc cottonseed oil through it after.

i have never tried air though. i may try that sooon

I am in the same situation. What is the process and how do you use a syringe filter? I also have whataman .45

ive never used a syringe filter. i use whataman .45....before i pass gear thru the whataman, i put a cc of grape seed oil in it to wet it. i put my gear thru it, then purge with about 10 cc of air...then 1 cc of oil then another 10 cc of air.....works for me...

Whatmans are syringe filters...

This is a good idea. Don't worry too much about losing some gear...You'd be losing alot more if you weren't able to filter it. Pass some oil through when youre done and be fine.

Shheesh....I dont' know what the big deal is.... It's just a little glass! Don't be a wuss!
