Point of view for this site

Just felt I needed to say this so bare with me. I have been using this site for a little while now and I feel I need to get something off my chest. 75% of the time when I post a thread or look at someone elses thread, it has the first few responses in it that are fairly good advise (better advise by the senior members) but then they all seem to either cut that person down for their question or lead to people chatting about or arguing about other stuff and forgetting about the persons question.

This site is for both new people trying to learn more about AAS use, so they won't mess themselves up and non newbies chatting about their experiences and sharing knowledge. Honestly I have yet to see much help when it really comes down to it for the newbies. I have always lived by the motto that "no question is a stupid question", mainly it's like if you have never ridden a motorcycle, don't jump on one and hall *ss down the freeway at 100mph until you learn how to ride.

My first AAS use was in the military in 1992 and I worked out and got my gear from a doctor that looked like Schwartzennager. I figured he new alot about it. If I would have had a site like this back then, then I might not be as f***d up as I am. He had me doing 100mg of winny ed and never told me to drink alot of water while on and how long to be on it among other things (and yes it was my fault, but I was young and impressionable). I now have cronic joint pains 24/7.

I am sure this thread will get alot of people firing shots at me, but think about it guy's we have all been newbies one time or another and we have all asked some pretty stupid questions in our time, but when we were given the answer to that question what happened? Ya we all felt stupid because the answer seemed pretty obvious when told to us, but we still had to ask it.

Last thing, Remember this, if you look back at alot of the threads and see the ones that people are arguing and making fun of other peoples questions, Take notice at there screen names, because you will soon see their thread and YES, they are asking questions as well (Go figure) we don't all know everything do we.

So, moral of this story is "Get off the high horse and help these guy's out instead of ridicule them, maybe just maybe you will help someone out"

I am sure you feel this way bro.. but belive it or not most here Try and help as much as possible.. ( myself included) but some times things get carried away .. But in all i think all members her contribute with advice and knowledge.... Some times Newbies just dont want to hear the truth.. they just keep asking the same question 100 different ways until they get the answer they want .... so how many memebers can give the same advice over and over... but i understand were you are coming from ... And I will try myself to make a better effort

pretty good point... While I have to admit I am guilty of several highjackings... but also when question is asked with the proper attitude usually there are also good answers..

Thanks for understanding guy's, I am not trying to rip on anybody at all and I think there is ALOT of good advise being thrown around out there. I have gotten alot of good advise from you especially Vandetta. Like I said, mainly the senior members. I guess I was just getting tired of seeing people rip on others and never really answering their questions. I love AAS, but done wrong can mess you up for life and I don't want that for anyone. Think about this, if a person goes ahead and buy's AAS and really wants to do it bad enough, then no matter what they will, so why not educate them as best we can, because when it all comes down to it, they will most likely do it anyway no matter how many people tell them not to.

V kinda summed up most of what I wanted to say, but to add to it just for example, read the thread titled "help" below. While there was some criticism by people, me included, it took us driving the point home to the guy for him to realize he should wait. I'm not saying bash the guy or anything, but some people need it straightup to see your point.

Totally understand and agree Darkseid, I do see alot of good input and advice. Don't get me wrong, I am not bashing (You guy's ROCK) and there is a lot to learn from people on this site. I guess I just needed to vent from what I have seen in the last couple weeks is all. I myself have learned alot from certain members, I have done several cycles 5 if I include 1992 and there is still alot I don't know.

He said he knew what he was doing and he definately looked like he did, he was a doctor who was I to argue at 20yrs old I just wanted to get huge. But what I didn't know definately hurt me.

    Hungry,

I can't disagree with you bro. There's alot of bullsh!t here, and on other boards. I think the biggest thing people need to remember (young and old) is to be as respectful as possible. I believe there are plenty of stupid questions, but that doesn't give anyone the right to be a dickhead. I try my hardest, but I know I slip up when I see someone just being a cock to those that are trying to help.

The cool thing about "respectful" disagreements, is that it usually ends up as intelligent conversation...which is why we're all here, right?

Im sorry but I disagree with you on this one bud...

The is a forum, obviosly everyone is going to have different opinions. Thats whats great about it though. the different ideas give the person asking the question different point of views of how to solve the problem. Not only is it a learning tool for the poster, but also for people who are reading the thread.

Thats true though. Some people need to take a chill pill, and calm down. I try to be nice but when someone is being a shithead to me I cant hold it back, nor will I just let it go. Im no puss.

You're absolutely right. And I know its the internet, so I know some are going to say things that they wouldn't neccessarily say to my face.

But, there is a right way and a wrong way to go about telling someone that their BF% is too high to cycle.

I agree, when it comes to some smart *ss that just wants to rant and rave or say stupid sh*t, then it is hard for me to hold back as well.

I fly off the handle all the time at work (yes I have a bad temper) so you guy's may see me fly off at some smart a*ssed punk sometimes, but I won't give anyone a hard time about a question that even I think is stupid because obviously it needed to be asked and understood by someone.

Right on. This board has its advantages, but its also very large and very busy.

I totally agree. Don't like answering why dbol-only cycles are bad? Don't post. Becuase with the kind of traffic that this site gets, it doesn't matter how many stickies you post, people are still going to ask.

Hey guys, I agree and disagree with this. Being a member on this site for almost a year now and overall a lurker for a year and a half I've learned how to ask the right questions, be respectful, post certain things that the more expierienced guys need to help and as a result I've learned a great deal of info to help others as much as i can. But i've thought of a way to kind of make people a bit more aware of how to act on certain simple questions that are mostly overlooked from the simple search button. Upon becoming a member for this site there is maybe a paragraph on the simple things about nutrition, diet, aas, lifting and etiquette. Once the member reads all of this basic info i.e A diet to be posted needs certain macros including carbs, protein fat, a bulk is a a surplus while a cut is lowering maintenence....workout sets ....and simple procedures for administering aas. Once there done maybe reading the one or two pages of simple info they answer maybe 10 question to actually make sure they have read it, once getting them right they can become a member and I think we will have a much more intelligent board and it will weed out the people who are serious as opposed to the people who dont care and are looking for a quick fix.

    Just my 2 cents.
