My doc wants blood tests done now and I'm on! Help!

My doc needs blood tests done in the next 2 weeks and I'm currently on Tren, EQ, Prop and Enth.

He wants a fasting blood test, focusing on hempatic and lipid profiles. I'm not real verse in the lingo, can someone help me out! I'd imagine my juice would be affecting my lipid profile, but I'm clueless. Should I just blow off the tests until I'm done??

Well I'm on Strattera for my ADD, and I dont know if he needs it done for insurance purposes. Of course my insurance company sure as shit does not want to see a lipid profile equivalent to a sumo wrestler either...

Its your doctor. Discloss your aas use, its confidential. I always have my blood work done when I'm on to ensure my liver enzymes are not elevated or my kidney stressed. As long as you make your doctor aware of your meds then everything will be fine. It should not interfere with what he is looking at. But never disclose your use if you are getting blood work done for life insurance policy reasons. I think you know why...

Exactly. My doc knows Ive DONE them, but he thinks it was awhile ago. I know he's cool with that, but I'm a bit nervous about telling him I'm on again, simply as I don't want it to affect me later on in life regarding insurance....

Im stumped! I need a doc on here...

Strattera has been known to cause liver hepatoxicity, and the lipid values were b/c I discussed my past AAS use with him. He did not write any of it down and seemed very cool with it, but ya never know. No need to tell him I'm continually doing them.

except that when you apply for a job, or life policy, you sign a release for them to recieve all of your medical records..

your doc is not required to provide for confidentiality in the event where you are taking an illegal drug.. especially one that endangers your life..

u can go ahead and do the tests... hopefully ur values wont be off the charts.. and if they are u can always tell ur doc, or then u can tell before hand (I wouldnt). or then u can postpone the tests.. what aDD medication are u usinG? its probable that ur liver alues will be a lil elevated and also lipidprofile slightly effected.

yeah i had to take my strattera so i could sit down and actually figure that one out. My doc never asked for any tests when being prescribed strattera, and i had to have it scripted by a psych and co-signed by a physician.

Lipid's are cholesterol. Hempatic is liver. If you levels are out of range
you should know. Maybe the Doc will perscribe a (statin) like Zocor
to help your cholesterol. If your liver is off the charts. Just tell the
Doctor you will stop drinking and then taper down before next test.

That's a good idea. I misjudged you Ufa, I may just try that.
