Thread: Eastern European pharmacies

    Eastern European pharmacies

    OK, I am aware that the EU countries in general are out of the question for pharmacy sales of AAS. Nothing to be had any longer in Spain, et cetera. Which is annoying. The Europeans seem to be copying the worst and most stupid aspects of American law in this regard: paternalistic, authoritarian, nosey, over-regulated, ugh!

    I've had the pleasant experience of walking into pharmacies in Asia (and way back when, in Mexico, before their police corruption got out of control) and being able to just buy what I wanted and needed without hassle. Wish that attitude were more widespread.

    How about Eastern Europe? Discount airlines have really opened those nations up to easy travel. They are not completely in the legal orbit of Brussels yet. Although most of them are moving quickly towards full EU membership.

    Turkey I know is still good to go (although I don't think of the Turks as being Europeans per se, nor as Asians, but as a somewhat unique bridge culture between the two).

    What I don't know is what to expect in any of the following, just listing them in rough order from north to south:

    * Estonia
    * Latvia
    * Lithuania
    * Poland
    * Czech Republic
    * Slovakia
    * Hungary
    * Slovenia
    * Croatia
    * Serbia
    * Bulgaria

    I could have listed countries even further to the east, Ukraine and Belarus and Russia itself, but I think that they are less likely to have easy availability of the sorts of things which would interest a Western anabolic tourist.

    Many of the items which people are currently ordering from Internet pharmacies are coming from Eastern Europe originally. Going there in person seems reasonable. But I don't know whether or not it would be a waste of time. Has anyone got the experience to share?

    I should have mentioned Romania -- and Albania, and Bosnia -- just to be complete.

    Did not really think of any of them as being likely destinations. All of the countries of Eastern Europe had a hard time during the Cold War years, but Romania (under the insane Ceausescu) and Albania (under the equally insane Hoxha) were especially badly hurt. Both nations are still, I think, lagging their neighbors in the move towards modernity and prosperity.

    And Bosnia got really badly ripped up in the witless ethnic/religious fighting of the 1990s.

    Which others are there? Macedonia?

    I think that in Bulgarian pharmacies you can still buy gear fairly easy... serbia/croatia and the other ex yugo countries during the 90-ties it was much easier but now its harder ,you may be able to find in some private pharmacies but not goverment owned whithout prescription.
    Maybe poland and the baltic countries but im not really sure about them.
