IGF Reconstitution

I've searched through this board twice and can't find a definitive answer. Lets try again.

The consensus is that IGF should be reconstituted with Acetic Acid (AA). There is a very nice recipe for making this Acetic Acid solution available on this board.

There is some uncertainty on Bacteriostatic Water and reconstituting IGF. Some say it is fine. Others say it limits the life of your IGF to max 48 hours.

I have unlimited supplies of sterile Bacteriostatic Water (BW). Can anyone tell me for sure if it will limit my IGF's life? I have 1000mcg vials of IGF that I exepect to last for ~15 days. I want to insure that I use the correct thing.

And lastly - what if I use some BW and some AA. Does this have any negative affect on the life of the IGF?

The problem I have is that mine came with Acetic Acid (AA) but, when I went to reconstitute and start my 'cycle', I found that they had only provided 0.8ml of AA. I can use 0.2ml from my second bottle (I have two supposedly 1ml vials of AA with my two 1000mcg bottles of IGF - combined to give me a ~30 day cycle) - but that will leave me short overall. I was hoping that I could mix some Bacteriostatic Water (BW) in with the AA to round things out to 1 full ML for reconstituting each of the 1000mcg bottles of IGF.

This is very frustrating - I just want to get started on this. I've been researching for months and trying to start for over 10 days now and every time I think I'm ready, something new crops up! Hopefully someone will provide an answer. Lets hope...

You are correct: If 0.1cc = 100mcg reconstituted at 1ml, then 0.1cc = 125mcg reconstituted with what I have (0.8ml).

That just means even smaller injections. I was hoping to keep the math easy but that seems it isn't likely to happen.

I've been reviewing the post about making your own Acetic Acid (AA) - and it makes a few assumptions. Firstly - that we all know how to get 0.20u Whatman Filters (I can only seem to find them in quantities of 50 for $125 from the manufacturer). Second - that filtering the vinegar somehow makes it sterile? I think not. And lastly what type of water to use to dilute it. I'm assuming NOT Bacteriostatic Water (BW) - so it must be distilled water? I guess I can just boil the water to sterilize and use that?

So many questions on process - so few answers...

Boiling the water isn't going to be as good as just buying sterile water. THey come in vials, too.
