going to have my shoulder scoped (labrum)

i have a scope scheduled in a week for my right shoulder wich im pretty nervous about. an mri & arthogram showed i had a tear in my labrum. i had one cortizone shot to help with the pain (which the pain has never been unbearable) after that wore off all the same symptoms came back so they decided to scope it. my shoulder has good range of motion to do every day stuff, but when it comes to benching or pushing anything it is very week.
my question is do you guys think surgery is the best plan here? i tore the labrum 3 months ago still no shoulder strenght.

    any replies are welcomed

i hurt my shoulder 8 months ago and went to get an mri and it showed a torn labrum. The first doc I went to said I have to have surgery. I went for a second opinion and this doc said no, you dont want to have surgery unless your in bad pain. I could do no flat bench or pushing for several months. I got a cortisone shot and took some anti-inflammatories. After 3 months or so I began working out. I cannot do any flat benchpresses or dumbells. It feel unstABLE, but I can incline all day long. Im around 185 and I can incline 275 for reps. I can do dumbells or barbell. I probably will just never do flat anymore. There is no need for flat bench anyway. try to see if you can do inclines. If you can then thats a good sign
