    help my dad!!

my dad was diagnosed with gyno a few weeks ago he had some tests done and today went to the doc's for the results, they said that every thing came back fine onthe test, liver values etc. he asked about having a op for the gyno and was told that itwas not advisable due to his age (46) and because the size of the lumps (in both breast) that there maybe alot of scaring and after op pain....they said they could prescribe some womens cancer drug which i presume they mean tamoxifen but they also wouldnt advise this due to his age???
anyway do u think its worth him taking some tamoxifens and maybe pushing for the op which now he isnt to fust on because of wot the doc bloody said...

    cheers guys

Letro is available from a board sponsor here...AR-R.
The link is at your up right-hand corner of the board.

    Good luck,

I'd go find another doctor. Too old? That's not right. I'd rather have some scarring then going around with man-tits. Somethings not right with that doctor.

He is not too old for gyno surgery. Dr. Bermant in VA and Dr. Delgado in CA perform this surgery on guys as old as 70 years old.

I had the surgery done by Dr. Miguel Delgado and there was virtually no pain, a bit of discomfort primarily due to the surgical drains they put in place for a week, but that's it. They prescribed me 15 percocet and I only took one on the second night and that was mainly because I was having trouble sleeping and not for the pain.

The only scaring he will have will be 3-5 cm along the lower aerolas and those scars fade away in like a year.

I had the entire gland removed so I would never get gyno again. It's an expensive surgery from a good surgeon, but it's well worth it. Pick the best doctor who does alot of these surgeries and don't worry about the cost. Finance it if necessary.

To old my ass. I am 51 and I have taken Tamoxafen with no issues, but that is not a good option for reversing gyno. Have a look at the link above and get some Letro
