    ups store question

im planning on getting a mailbox at the ups store with 24 hour pick up so i can get packages after hours with a key. im putting the mailbox under my real name cause i dont wanna use a fake id cause that's a felany in itself i believe. my question is:

if a package is sent to my address but has a different name on it, will they put it in my box or would this cause suspicion.

Just put it in your real name, it does not matter. The only thing that matters is posession. If a package of juice gets nabbed with you name on it, but it is not in your posession it doesn't matter. If you get nabbed with it and its not in your name you will still get charged.

I have heard that sometimes they ask for ID sometimes they don't. I would go to one, and if they ask for ID say you left it in the car, then don't come back. Keep doing it until you find one that doesn't card you, there are WU everywhere.

No they will either hold it or send it back if they catch it.

When I went to get a box they said they have to have ID and make copies of it because of a rule by homeland security.

they asked me for 2 sets of ID.
The paper work you fill out goes back to the post office and your address is recorded with them.

Are you trying to hide the packages from a GF or family members? If not then what I do is send it to my house with a different name on the package. You get your mail and walk in and write "return to sender" across the package and leave it sit there for a day. If the cops etc we're going to nail you they would do it before you had a chance to distribute the gear or to move it out of your possesion. The next day you no the men in black aint coming for ya so you open the gear and start shooting.

I like the UPS store. For one thing its not a federal crime. Two you can let the package sit for a week. No one is going to stakeout that long. Chances are they will call you or approach you about it. My advice is get a box at ups store, then order a couple of test packages from where ever. And note how they are handled. If it's a big box and they put it in the lock box, and leave a key for you to get then that is good. So if you order juice and they leave you a note to pick it up at the counter, then you would know it was out of the norm. You can never be to careful, if they seem pushy for you to accept the package then something is definetly wrong, in which case tell em to shove it.
