after i take my syringe out of the package should the plastic sheath just slide right off or is there some kind of saftey device to ensure it's never been opened

It should take a little tug to get off and kinda click off(best way i can explain it, not good with sound effects.LoL)

Youd be able tell if it has been open...where did you get your needles from? if its a reliable place then no need to worry about wether or not its been open

When you pull off the plastic sleeve, it sort of makes a snap.
