    thyroid and fat burn

    I'm takeing 225mcg of synthroid every day, I can't lose weight, I visited nutricionist, I'm on 1400 cal, mostly protein, I'm 5'6" girl 130lb I felt more comfortable with 118-120lb. I workout 6 days, very intensive workout, I workout about 5 years now. I would like try some helpfull suplemment , I'm thinking about AS something mild, could you recomende me something??

    that is a lot of synthroid, im bumping it for you for an answer.

    How is your diet? How often are you eating? What are you eating? Do you ever throw in cheat days?

    I actually lost more weight when I started getting sloppy with my diet and had more cheat days and such. Go to the diet forum and see how you measure up.

    I would contact a mod and ask for access to
    the womans only forum,probably be more helpful.
    Then you would be pink like the rest of the ladies.

    Personally,I think you can reach that goal w/out
    the use of any AAS. I dropped over 40lbs of fat
    years ago...morning cardio on a empty stomach
    was my best friend,but were not as close now

    225mcg Synthroid/T4 = 55mcg Cytomel/T3


    55mcg of T3 aint really a lot, I used to cycle at 120mcg and my bloodworks came back fine.

    my PDR says says 50 to 200mcg po qd max dose 300mcg unless you are suffering with myexedema coma then up to 500mcg.
    She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130lbs , im hoping you are bigger.
    1.7mcg/kg po qd @60 kg=102mcg/day shes over twice that so it just sounded like a lot to me.

    My diet is clean I'm eating 50%protein, 30%carb and 20%fat...1400-1500cal. I eat chicken breast, egg whites, fish {sea bass, salmon, halibut}, carbs in the morning oatmeal, lot of green veggies, blubarries, rasberies, almonds, cashew,..clean food.
    I exercise 6 days 3 day split very intensive training 45-60min 1 day chest+legs, 2. day shoulders+triceps, 3 day back+bic cardio 4-5 days {30-45min}..2-3 days in the morning on empty stomach of course.

    I was taking 325mcg of synthroid coupel months ago I was overmedicated I did test and I didn't lose anything too. Doc told me slow down with tyroid pills. but still nothing.
    That's weird...!!! where is problem??

    Possibly genetics!?!?!

    There can be lots of underlying causes, lots of which we don't understand well enough in modern medicine to address!!

    Do you feel satiated after you've eaten?? ie. Do you feel full??


    My ex found that caffeine in the morning before her running worked wonders and she dropped about 6-7lb on her already 10%BF frame!!

    caffeine?? hm sometimes coupel of times at week I take before cardio or workout some energy drinks [redline...dietex..} now I got Efedra..i gonna try it!!

    A female, 130 lbs... training intensely 6 times weekly...supplementing with a metabolic enhancer...and only consuming 1400 kcals per day?

    You're shooting yourself in the foot.

    1400 kcals is too low to support you...and that's even prior to the inclusion of daily exercise.

    Your diet needs to be reformed.

    You're taking too much thyroid medication, firstly.

    But as for getting to 120lbs, It might just be that you need to do more cardio. To get to 120lbs, a girl I worked with (*Ms. New Jersey) had to do 2 hours a day, and was on 900 calories. To get to roughly that same weight, Mandy Polk (another girl I know, who is a fitness professional) had to do 1.5 hours a day, and her diet was roughly the same calories as yours.

    that's lot of cardio?? I do cardio 4-5 days, before I did 6 days, it's right I did just 30-40min but I felt enough. hm I'm confused

    Yes, it's a lot of cardio. The girls I know are either nationally qualified, or professional competitors, and that's the amount they personally needed to get to the bodyweight that you are shooting for.
