Going to geneva next week

we are going to visit the CERN accelerator with my nuclear physics class. But I want to enjoy the town aswell. Hopefully we will have good weather.

What places do I have to visit if I am in Geneva?? Is it a expensive city?

yeh switzerland is hell expensive!i only been here 3 weeks.. so im not too sure on places to visit. off the top of my head geneva isnt really famous for much. if u like / buy expensive designer stuff then u will love geneva. if ur not really into shopping it wont be anything special. theres a nice boat and city tour arround the lake, geneva has a beautiful lake!!! also there are really beautiful girls DDDD maybe u can pick some up for me!? and i can steal them when ur gone.. how long you coming up for?

i live roughly 20 mins from the city. im over the border in france. on the big mountain! i have a great view of the whole city theres like 3 small towns next to each other in france right next to geneva.. but its only 10 mins from there so all the frence people party and go to geneva so even tho its not the biggest of citys, it has another population roughly 10 mins away! so yeh im technically in france but geneva is my city

so what exactly are you guys doing? do u know what kind of hours class will be in? im guessing like half class half tourism. prolly not much class orientated stuff at night? do u know where/ what area your staying in?

Right now Im not sure but I will know soon. My professors is going to put up a schedual. We will be shown around on CERN and get a overview on what projects are going on right now I recon.

But yeah in the evening we will do whatever we want I guess. I dont know my class mates that well but considering they are students my bet is they will go out and party as hell. Il post up where Il stay when I know more
