    Smile Curious question

so i have been reading a million threads on alcohol but i still have a question of my own i have been on a test e cycle for a while now like 13weeks and i drink every weekend without having any liver problems which i know is a dumb thing to do, but my question is that i read in one thread that it can cause your skin to itch and lately me back has been getting itchy real bad when i start to sweat so bad i want to ripe my skin off. do you think its from mixing alcohol with my cycle or no its something else. and question two is alcohol a reason y im not seeing that great gains?

Why not just discontinue alcohol for a while and see if your problem is gone, if it still persists than you know its something esle, pretty simple i think.

There are two reasons IMO why people complain they are not seeing good gains, either your diet is crap or your training is crap, or its a combonation of both so i would suggest you take a closer look at both of these, as they are the determining factors on how much you gain and whether you meet your goals for the cycle

And as far as alcohol goes i have yet to see any kind of positive influence alcohol has on ones body and mind, And i suggest that it would in your best interest to stop drinking bro as there is no good that comes of it, on cycle or off cycle why do something when nothing good or positive comes of it?

alcohol will kil your gains + the body's toxins are released threw sweat, that is probably why you itch, my back itches on cycle too when i run tren

also, how the hell can you go all out in the gym if you are not 100% due to drinking? one or two beers every now and then really wont hurt, but dude, the key is to walk into the gym at your best. getting drunk, even drinking just for a buzz, will affect your sleep.
your mind wont be fully alert, and that lack of sharpness will cost you.
alcohol and gear together? man, thats a waste of time...

I'm a drinker myself man---working in a college bar almost nightly has that effect haha----but since i've started lifting seriously I cut back to twice a week max and now that I'm on cycle I've stopped almost completely. The trick---for me at least---is that if you can't totally stop to at least pick special events to look forward to, to drink. It really helps me to stop drinking when I feel like I'm waiting for a certain day. For example I haven't had a drink in 3 weeks cause I'm saving up for New Years and then I'm done again until one of my favorite concerts 3 weeks down the road. I agree fully with the alcohol contributing to the itching---it does that shit to me reguardless of cycling or not.

i ran a club for years. i was around alcohol on a nightly basis, and the urge to drink was just never there for me. i learned that after a few experiences with drinking that it took me days just to gain back the ground i had lost in the gym.
wake up the next day, body worn out from drinking. get in the gym, strength is down, body feels bloated, dehydration preventing a proper pump. why would you want this?
im not trying to preach, just saying, if you drink, do it wisely...

i think drinking will hinder your gains, growing starts outside of the gym, which is why diet and nutrtion is so important, it does a lot of negative impacts on the body. i think the worst one is the dehydration!

anyway, i heard that hops (found in beer) increases estrogen.

Above all, i find it easy enough to go out with my friends, the wife, or the combinations and just not drink. you can still have a great time without it.
