    is this ok to do?

bros - is it ok to heat up a coffee mug with hot wat and to submerge the full syringe in using an 18g that i filled my syringe with and let it sit in the hot water to heat up the casing/oil? then remove it, attach my 23g pin for injection to make for smoother injections?

don't see why not, I have done that before. As long as the needle is sterile and the contents of the syringe remain uncontaminated it should be fine.

I would not do that. It cant be very steril at that point. Why not just het the vial beofre you draw. Or will the syringe and hold it over the heat of the stove.

It may sound pedantic but I unless the mug and the water is sterile then bacteria could get onto the tip of the syringe before you swap pins, I wouldnt personally, why not just dip the vial in the mug (not full to the top of course)

after you draw before you change pins, use a hair dryer, then change pins , good to go......

As long as you don't submerge the pin you should be fine, as the only point of entry for potential contamination would be the point of the pin.

Like Valcon said, use a hair drier on the vial before you draw/ Not only does this maintain a sterile environment, but it also makes drawing easier as well as heating the oil for injection.
