leg pics and back pics would help us critique better. but seeing how you have such low bf% right now, if you put on 10lbs of lean mass, you'd look great bro

I have a friend like you he is always bulking, but the problem is he is scared to let his abb's go away so he doesnt do it right, Im not saying you are, but dont be scared to put on alittle fat with the bulk, You will grow faster, and that way you know your getting enough food. Just my .02 you look good though!!!

I had abs like that all my life but not terribly bigger in my younger days, then I started bulking including weight gainer shakes, etc. I will thrilled to gain 40 lbs over 6 months at first but I traded my abs for a keg and the arms and other areas worked on didnt change so dramatically like my tummy did. I would say, gain up 20 lbs, then slow down the weight gain, you will take on fat but give it time and working out for convert the gained weight for muscle.

You can grow muscle quite well with 750 to 1000 calaries above maintenance levels, but really over 750 to 1500 calaries above maintenance and you are no longer encouraging additional muscle gain as much as you are just getting fat. Once I got fat I had to sit at my weight and even take some back off and now I am darn lucky at 41 years to have abs again, I will be smart not to loose them. For me what counts is to look and be healthy and respectable and actually my arms look more muscular with a lower body fat at 15 inches then they did at 15.5 when I was carrying around a tub. My wife likes the cut look on me and as long as I keep my abs and separation in my arm muscles, I get rewarded with lots and lots of sex.

you have good definition bro i would try to add compound lifts like dead lifts squats, military press and bench to help thicken you up.

No worries about your weight, hell I went on stage at almost 6' weighing a buck fifty five. Things that are important to you right now: diet, proper training and form, sleep. I don't know anything about the way you train so I'll just throw out a couple of tips. Heavy compound lifts with free weights are a must (squats, bench press, deadlifts, heavy bent rows). Do the most work for the biggest muscles so more sets for legs and back and only a few for arms and shoulders. Take enough time for recovery and don't worry too much about what you eat. From your pics I would say your predominately ecto-meso (genetic makeup) so you shouldn't put on too much fat with a high caloric intake. Oh, and never call yourself scrawny, most of North America is obese, consider yourself well off. Cheers
