    is this possible?

    well i have a notebook, i connected a monitor to it on which i extended my desktop. i also have connected a usb mouse and keyboard
    so means i have onboard mouse and keyboard on book, + usb kb n mouse
    i want to know if theres any way for me to use teh other monitor as another station where i could use teh second mouse n kb ....

    It sounds like you want to use 2 computers with the same monitor. If your monitor has multiple inputs you can. Connect the laptop using DVI or VGA and the 2nd computer connect using the available port. Use the input selector on the monitor to switch between the ports. For example. Laptop on the DVI port and desktop computer with keyboard and mouse on the VGA.

    You could also invest in a KVM switch that would allow you to use a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor for multiple PC's.
