People who don't appreciate life rant.

I was at the RMV today, and it was so filthy, as soon as I pulled up, there was so many fat ladies outside smoking. And it got me thinking..... when I was 14 years old I had my best friend in the world die of cancer, and he was just 14 years old.... he would have done anything to continue his short life.... and yet.... there are milllions of people everyday who smoke and knowingly put those chemicals in them despite the fact there is a 75% chance (or whatever the statistic is) that they will get lung cancer, and die amoung with the other 400,000 people who die a year from tabacco. I just had a sad realization today for many do not appreciate life and it pisses me off

Because they can profit it off of it.

Once they figure out how to profit off of marijuana and steroids they will sell that too. Why do you think almost every other commercial is filled with an advertisement on television(strongest form of mass comm) about some pill that can cure some type of problem that the U.S. govt creates in their own factory.

You know I always thought about it... if the medical companies started coming out with medicines to treat the cause instead of the symptom, so many companies would be out of business. I always wondered about this with accutane. I mean it works... works damn good and works for 99% of people that take it and is almost permenant in most cases, but instead they have you use creams and antibiotics for years and waste loads of money like I had to.

Most people do not appreciate life until their life is threatened. You name it. Addictions, obesity, illness, etc. Society is so reactive in that you have to be told that you're going to die before you show any sense of urgency.

I've said this before on this board and I will say it again. It typically takes a defining moment to make one appreciate his/her life. If you're able to overcome that defining moment successfully, then you'll feel as if you've earned the rest of you life. That "half empty" glass becomes much more full when really all we need is a simple refill.

It's true many things are carcinigens. However, I'm sure you will find evidence that many more people are getting cancer from smoking than those drinking from plastic water bottles. Yes people have a right to do a lot of things if they want to. I believe that the majority of us on the board just find it ironic that we're not allowed to juice when that does not cause anywhere close to the amount of health problems something legal like smoking does. And in addition to that the majority of people who juice live very healthy lifestyles to begin with. I have no problem with people doing WHATEVER THEY WANT or makes them happy, and the law mostly protects them, so long as your pursuit of happyness doesn't interfere with anyone elses (i.e.- driving a car drunk puts other peoples lives at risk, being impaired by other drugs causes people to commit crimes to buy drugs, and second hand smoke can cause cancer to non-smokers who are exposed frequently..) In this regard you are not allowed to do whatever you want, you are not allowed to recklessly endanger other peoples health or lives because it makes you happy.

So how bout you get off YOUR high horse, because I dont see anyone on theirs around here. Quite frankly in my opinion I would decriminalize drugs and let all the addicts and junkies overdose and ****ing die, the population can definately afford to lose these worthless derelicts of society who serve no functional purpose and are only a drain on our economy when they end up in the hospital with no health insurance for some drug induced health problem they've brought upon themselves yet burden us with their useless existence. It would also reduce crimes committed in order to get money to buy more drugs.

Are you another one of those tree huggers that believe we should feel bad for these wastes of life and shell out billions of our tax dollars to help them because "its not their fault"...?

And finally, please post the evidence of ONE death that has EVER been directly attributed to the use of steroids. I'll save you some time in looking, because in the history of steroids there has not been one death ever directly attributed to their RESPONSIBLE AND SAFE USE.. So please, if you are highly UNINFORMED on a subject do us a favor, save some board space, and research before opening your mouth.
