    Good thing I aspirated

Was doing a glute shot today in the gluteus medias. I aspirated and the plunger pulled back very easily and filled with about a 1/2 cc of blood. I have nicked a vein before and got the whole cou***ng and tight chest, taste in the mouth thing, but I have never seen my syringe fill up with blood before. It freaked me out. I must have been directly in a vein or blood vessel or something. Weird thing is when I pulled the needle out the puncture did not bleed. Anyways, it was a shot of winstrol so I just drank it. The taste of blood and winstrol was pretty sick, but i guess whats the difference its my blood. Just couldn't bring myself to inject with a fresh dose again today after that. Just goes to show you the million times you aspirate nothing usually happens, but there could always be that one time.

Good thing you did asperate. It is very easy to pull back when your in a vein, you barely have to try.

If you aspirate and no blood comes out does that mean you are not in a vein?

if it is hard to pull back does that automatically mean its ok, or do you have to force a bubble up, sorry to hijack the thread..

    ..add to the rest..

always inject slowly even if aspiration turns out good. it is possible to move pin around while inject and nick vein, and if you inject slowly you can abort if required (cou***ng etc)prior to injecting a whole wack of gear into your vein...
