how is this run program for weight loss?

i need to lose weight, i an currently 5 10-5 11, 254. I need to get into shape, as ever since football ended, i became pretty lazy. I plan on running 4-5 times a week. I rarely ever feel hungry, its just i ate bad, adn my work patterns cause me to get up around 11 in the afternoon. Now i usually eat two meals a day, starting with one whoe egg, and egg whites, at around 12 and for dinner, two chicken breasts, in a whole wheat pita at around 5. Is that run program agood to start with?
