Hey guys, I'm new to the sight and to be honest I'm damn depressed with how much ive let myself go....anyways.....

6'1"
240 lbs

I'm looking for a straight up cutting diet to strip the excess flab I've gained over the last few years......I want to drop 30lbs by june.....No point in lying my diets been pathetic....the only thing I was doing right is eating a lot of chicken and tuna...but after reading through the stickies over the last couple of weeks....I've been reinvigorated and have begun to understand a lot about what i was doing wrong....

I've been on this diet for about 2 weeks and i'm down about 10 lbs...(my all time high was 250)...I figured I'd have to be an idiot not to ask for your opinions and instruction if i'm missing something..
here we go.

8:00-8:45 cardio


Meal #1 9:00
2 1/2 cups egg beaters
1/2 cup oatmeal

450 cals 37g carbs, 65g pro, 3g fat, 4g fiber

Meal #2 11:00
8 ounces grilled chicken breast + 1tblsp balsamic vin
1 cup green beans w/ non fat butter spray
2 tblsp peanut butter

470 cals 7g carbs, 67g pro, 16g fat, 2 g fiber


Meal #3 1:00 Pre work out
8 ounces grilled chicken
1\2 cup brown rice
1 can slice baby carrots

512 cals 41g carbs, 63g pro, 2g fat, 7g fiber

Workout (bowflex) 1:20-210

Meal #4 2:30 post work out
double whey shake
260 cals 10g carbs, 40g pro, 5g fat


Meal #5 6:30
7 ounce albacore in bag w/ hotsauce
245 cals 4g carbs 52.5 pro

meal #6 8:30

whey shake and an apple
200 cals 24g carbs, 20g pro 2.5g fat


Oh yeah by the way....I work 10 hour days mon-thurs 2nd shift dont get home til 2:45am go to sleep between 3:30 and 4am


Any directions or insights you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated
I'm dead set on losing this weight....
