Pain when wife injecting

Ok, today I gave my wife shit. She's been poking me for about 7 weeks now and still she can't insert the needle at once. What she does is, she pretty much touches my skin and then drives the needle in. Not ideal, I'm starting to hate the shots. I feel when she's piercing my skin and then when it's going in. Sometimes I twinge as she drives it in - not too pleasant at all.

I keep telling her to hold it like a dart and just shove it in. That's what she was going to do this morning and today was the most painfull of them all. Also, she came too close to a bone for my comfort. On the way out, it seems that she doesn't pull it out straight as well, as I feel like she pokes me with a tip coming out.

I mean I appreciate that she's doing this, but how do I get her to improve?

I was thinking to have her practice on a chicken leg, the only problem is that it might not bee deep enough. Any other ideas?

My friends wife practices on an orange. She used to be scared, but she is a pro now. And this is with a 20g.

What size pin you use? Good practice tool is a tomatoe...or I would learn yourself.

I inject myself and I prefer to go slow. going slow really doesn't hurt that much and I feel I have more control.

A friend once injected me in my left delt when I had an injury. He came from the fast harpooning school of injection - once was enouogh, that style is not for me. I know what you mean by coming to close to the bone.

I think you should learn to do it yourself, unless of course you have her inject you cause it is some sort of a kink thing - in that case quit complaining.

I have to agree, sounds like some type of payback....lol... On a serious note, have her practice on an orange. When my dad began his insulin shots, his doc recomended the same thing. He explained that the orange peel is very similar to our skin. Also the orange don't complain when it gets a bit rough, and you can be there to help her with advise when you are not in pain rather than giving advise under stress. Both of you may feel more comfortable that way.

Or you can learn to do it yourself.

No, I know it's not payback. I can see in her face that she's starting to dread this whole experience. I explained to her the whole idea and pain, but she just can't get herself to poke me real hard/fast.

I think going faster is better or maybe I'm just a big baby. It's just that I feel her piercing the skin, then going in fat to muscle and it's not too pleasant.

As far as doing it myself, I don't think I want to try. You have to twist quite a bit, then hold the position for a bit and from some reading it's not ideal - people get the sweats, light headed, etc. Also, we hit three areas on each chick, inside, middle, and outside and it would be difficult to hit by myself. That's how we rotate it.

nurses practice with oranges while in training.... maybe she should try that.... or you can just do it yourself... my gf is afraid to do it so I have to myself. Doing it myself actually caused me to overcome the needle phobia I had my whole life

and you need to make sure she is pulling the skin tight before injecting. Otherwise the needle doesn't go in smooth

if your worried about twisting to do your butt. Do your quads or delts yourself. Beggars shouldn't be choosers.

Ok, someone tell me more about skin pulling. I think I've read it before somewhere, but never practiced.

As far as scar tissue, don't think I have much as it is my first cycle and we rotate spots.

I will do shoulders and other body parts myself, once I hit IGF and test priop in the future.

Learn to do it yourself would be my suggestion. Quads are the easiest to hit.

+1, Even if someone offered to inject me, I would say no. I trust myself, and only myself.
