    Injection Question?????

Im doing prop with ed injects.. I did a calf shot lastnight... I was looking around on the net for spot injecting sites and the oones that I found had the guys shooting only in their lateral gastroc. Is there a prb with shooting in the medial gastroc???

not sure, calf shots are a bitch though, you likely will be in pain.

Deep to the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles lie a pair of peroneus muscles. The peroneus muscles produce eversion and plantar flexion at the ankle. Inversion is caused by the contraction of the tibialis muscles. The large tibialis anterior muscle dors***exes the ankle and opposes the gastrocnemius muscle.

So if you're using the right sized needle and don't penetrate deep enough to hit those little guys or get in between you should be OK to inject the medial gastrocnemius. I'm curious though how the pain is and what amount you're injecting? I'd inject the quad, glute, deltoid, and pectoral well before my calf so props to you!

If you have some jacked calves it probably will be ok if you can handle the soreness.
