    zoloft = gyno???

    hey fellas,

    its me again. its been about 3 or so weeks of 2.5mg a day of letro...still no regression of gyno. still have a tiny lump in my right pec. i have been off cycle for almost a year now, so this shit is crazy. the only thing i've changed has been the zoloft. i started taking it the same time i noticed symptoms. so i think i'll STOP THE ZOLOFT, before i go insane.

    has anyone ever heard anything about zoloft effecting hormones???

    nope. have you had your bloodwork done? This needs to be your next step buddy. Got to find out what your test, estrogen, and maybe progesterone is up to. Your ratios may be all out of whack still...

    i just realized that i started smoking cigarettes again at about the same time i started the zoloft. could smoking be the reason for the gyno??

    Smoking does increase the risk of additional side effects, but I'm almost certain gyno is not one of them.

    I've been on Zoloft since December, and the only "annoying" side effect that I have had so far has been frequent urination. Have you asked your doc about it? I have an appointment next week and am definitely going to ask about the frequent urination. Zoloft + all of my water intake make it difficult to get may hours of sleep at a time without running to the bathroom. LOL.
