no one cares. the guy owns everything. more power to him i guess but it makes you wonder how the govt lets him do this, they allowed exxon and mobil to merge but they have a big hard on about xm and sirius merging. they let 2 oil titans merge, but 2 struggling companies they have a problem with?? oil is a necessity at this point, satellite radio isnt..... those who think that howard stern doesnt have influence and need to realize that he is the only reason they wont let this go through. its sad how our govt doesnt give a shit about consumers.

Well the goverment if they let XM and sirius merge it reduces or perhaps eliminates competition, which would not be good for consumers. If they both fail, then there would perhaps just not be a strong enough market altoghether. As far as the oil industry at least even with the merger there is still quite a few companies.
