Does HCG have to be refrigerated before reconstitution?

I just picked up some HCG from a buddy of mine and it had not been kept in a fidge. Does HCG have to be kept cold before as well as after reconstitution? Also, the HCG is 1 big clump as opposed to powder.

do you think the fact that the "powder" is 1 big clump rather than powder mean anything? Is this how it comes or is it a sign of inproper storage? Also, how much should i need to use for a 12 week cycle of test e?
