Maybe they meant that viagra can make you have more sex, and more sex might increase testosterone...

Your test level spikes after sex so that's probably it. I saw a report on the effect of having sex before a football match ( the myth that you don't perform as well and athlete's ban sex before a match) turned out the study showed that it may improve performance as test levels rise after sex.
