Am I Getting Enough Sleep... Should I quit my job

    Hey Guys,

Ok my weekly sleep patterns are really screwed:

I work 12 hour night shifts.

By the time i get home and get to sleep i have 5 solid hours before i have to get up and go again.

When I get to work I have a 90 minute power nap.

This repeats 4 shifts per week.

Then i am off all weekend and back to 10 hour sleeping.

I am curious if this is effecting my muscle gains by alot?

    I work 12 hour shifts also..7am-7pm.

I can be in bed by 9pm if needed, which gives me 8 hours sleep. You must have some commute or something to only get 5 hours.
Lack of sleep will affect your gains. You don't build muscle in the gym...you build it in bed.(while sleeping)

Yea, that's nasty ! it does effect the hgh and some other hormone and metabolic functions which in turn will have an impact on your muscles and health in general. Quite if you have to, 5 hours is not enough.
