Thread: Fat Loss Question.

    Fat Loss Question.

Right now I'm sitting at 230lbs at maybe 17-18%bf. I want to try and retain the as much muscle as possible. I'm looking for something to help with that. I do not want to do anything that would "shut me down". I was thinking either ephedrine, clen, dnp, or a peptide.
What would you guys recommend? From your experience what worked best for you. I already have my diet planned out and I know that this is a must. I'm only looking for something to run along side my diet to retain muscle.

I'm 22years old. I have done 3 cycles. I have been lifting for 5 years.

    Current: 230lbs@17-18%
Goal: 200lbs@12-13%bf <------Is this realistic given my stats?

    Thanks team,
    Ryan

personally, i would just try your new diet for a while by itself, see how much you lose that way. up the cardio too. i would try it naturally first if you haven't.

but if you really want to add something i would use clen. it will help preserve the muscle you said you didn't want to lose too.

btw, i think your goal is very realistic, good luck

Hey Takedown, thanks for the reply.

I was kind of thinking of like a low dose of Clen just to kinda push things along.

that would be alright, just start slow and work your way up on the dosage until the sides get to rough, ie. shakes, headaches

have you reasearched clen much? i would definately do that if you haven't, there are some things you should take while on it too that will help, for example taurine and other supps

If you are 230 at 18% bodyfat, that means you have about 41 pounds of fat on your body. If you loose 30 pounds and only make it to 13% that means you still have 26 pounds of fat. That means you lost 15 pounds of fat and 15 pounds of muscle. You should not except that much muscle loss. If you loose all 30 pounds as fat, you would be 5.5% body fat. Then all you would have to do is lose a couple more pounds and dehydrate and you'd be contest ready. You would weigh in around 190 depending on how much water weight you drop.

I like albuterol myself. Metformin works for some. CLA's and oolong tea have both been proven to work in scientific research. ECA is ok. ADD medication, but that can be hard to get as it is a controlled substance.

You guys do understand that bodyfat percentage literally means the percentage of your bodyweight that is made of adipose tissue don't you? The only thing I can think of as to the confusion is people are losing muscle with it, or forgetting that when you cut carbs you drop some water weight.

Whoa man you mean %BF equals the %of BF, holy cow I would be lost without you. You are so far above anyone on this board with sweet words like adipose. P.S. don't recommend metformin or add meds as a rule.

Well if you will notice above, some people don't understand what bodyfat percentage means. Maybe YOU know what that means, but it looks like other people don't. If someone who weighs 230 thinks they need to drop 30 lbs. to drop 5 or 6 points they obviously do not understand. This is not the first post I have seen like this either. And on all the threads, everyone seems to think nothing odd about it. Just look at other threads about cutting, lots of people are confused. So I was trying to educate those who don't understand.

As for recommending things that are not allowed, my apologies. I just assumed that since lots of other prescription drugs are recommended (not to mention illegal drugs) that this would be ok. Especially since they are safe with no side effects that last longer then a week. I just assumed and didn't didn't think that would against the rules. I won't mention those again.

But seriously why the hostility? The math is so far off it's not even funny. Any reasonable person can see that the concept is not understood. Or maybe I came off rude to you. That wasn't my intention though.

back to the guy that started this thread:

i would try and go naturally like takedown advised. see how you go. but of course, something like clen would be a nice help if you still feel unsatisfied with your progress. good luck
