Dateline NBC - Chinese Imports....

Did anyone see Dateline last night about the "fake/counterfeited" drugs imported from China? They had a scientist from Pfizer who couldn't tell the difference in the viagara pills that were counterfeited!

When the scientist actually tested the pills, they had DRYWALL in them and only trace amounts of viagra.

I hope that you guys who get other types of "things" from China, have lab tests to see if that craps legit. It seems that almost everyone's source these days gets their Sh*t from there.

its good in some respects and worse in others, ASX has doubled in last 30 months, dollar has reached about 89c US about week ago. the reserve bank is raising interest rates to try and slow the economy down but its going up and up every quarter

Why do you thing the economy is going up? What area is it worse in?( I like a good business discussion ) I remember when it was like 50-60c on the dollar because I was going to buy some martini r***es from australia, but never got around to it.

I think you need a lesson in economics. Petrol is going up because the world is overpopulated and we are approaching peak oil production within the next 15 years. When you see inflation in local economy in relation to the global economy it is a good indication of a trade deficit.

Yea its safe to say that this report was complete BS...Drywall my ass, they paraded their little scientist from Pfizer on TV and probably made the counterfeit out of drywall themselves.

It reminds me of a news report done about 1-2 years ago by a smaller paper I believe. Where a guy ordered from 3 different Euro suppliers. Further investigation revealed the news article was cashed up by ONE of the three sources in Europe. When this 'news reporter' went to get the 3 different sources products tested 2 of the 3 contained "trace elements of arcenic" and other toxic chemicals. Only one of the sources had 'uncontaminated' gear...It really did come off like a legit news article, but when certain people took notice it was obvious what the source had done...

its going up in the resources boom, Australia is rich in iron ore, aluminim, copper, gold and so on and china cant get enough of the stuff. the drought and higher dollar is bad for farmers, and people who export. the market took a hit yesterday and the big players like macquarie bank lost a fair bit of value for a day, i think it was a bit of correction cause there was a double peak not so long ago on the ASX. if i would give you a tip there is a company called Tap Oil (TAP ASX code) i brought in at 89c about year ago trading about 2.10 mark now i think it will continue to move up to 3 mark by christmas. ASX is one of the safest markets to trade in.
