Injection process?

I have 23g 1 1/2" pins and im curious if i need to fully insert the pin to the base or what depth i need to penetrate (test C if that matters). I intend to inject glut. Also is there danger in injecting into a blood vessel, and how to tell if youve struck one?

do a search on aspirating. Depth depends on your size

I agree^^ your size does have some to do with it. But a 1 1/2 shouldn't have any issues if your hitting glutes. Might come into question with say delts.
And yes there is a danger injecting into a vessel.

23" 1/2 for glutes. Stick it in all the way, aspirate and slowly administer the oil. Once complete, rub the spot for a few minutes.

If you hit a vein, you will know it. Might feel like you are gonna die..just lay down and try to get your breathing under control. You might cough alot as well.

the rules are upper outer quadrant of the glute and u ill never hot the scatic nerve. always aspirate, py needle up to hub in the glute other wide it will be a injection into fat. when u aspirate ie draw back on plunger if blood freely enters syringe then ur in a vessell, a small amouunt of blood into the needle hub is ok. hope that helps u buddy
