well i know that USC recruited this kid, and he played in texas, the highschool football capital of the world...
Then why did California beat Texas in the Cali-Tex all star game every year?Originally Posted by bigboy003

Just because they worship football like Christians worship Jesus doesnt make it better. California, Ohio, Florida, and Oklahoma all have very good football. Talent is talent, it isnt any better or worse in a certain geographic location.
okay, i didnt wanna go here but we can if u want... look at the rosters of all the texas schools (obviously)...LSU, OSU, OU, just to name a few, im not saying that cali football isnt any good... yes talent is talent i agree but i also think that the overall talent in texas is better... and the reason that cali might win is because everyone knows that the top football players do not play in those games, Mack Brown would never let a recruit play in a game like that....
Im just bustin your balls man. But take a look-Originally Posted by bigboy003

California- 13
Florida- 9
Texas- 8
i grew up in southwest oklahoma and i doubt football is taken more seriously anywhere than the states of texas and oklahoma. it really is a way of life for alot of folks down there and they beat it in little boys heads from the time they are born. talent is everywhere across the country and the reason states like texas, california, ohio and florida have so many d1 players is simple, it's called population.Originally Posted by bigboy003
I'm looking forward to seeing McGuffie at Michigan in 09! He might get the opportunity to carry the ball with Hart leaving.
he said that was the reason he chose michigan... i hate to see him leave texas though....Originally Posted by StoneGRMI
